From tvguide.com

Quote:
Supernatural has cast another of the Four Horsemen of the apocalypse.

Matt Frewer — best known for a recent role in Eureka and for playing the title character on Max Headroom — has been cast as Pestilence, TVGuide.com has learned exclusively. Pestilence creates and spreads disease.

"Our first brush with him in Episode 520 seems relatively innocuous and then unfolds into something more substantial," executive producer Sera Gamble said. "Put it to you this way: Horsemen on our show tend to think several moves ahead."

Throughout Season 5, we've met two of the Four Horsemen. War (Titus Welliver) and Famine (James Otis) have appeared, while the fourth Horseman, Death, has only appeared off-screen in one episode.

i'm liking the portrayals of these horsemen.

I've been wondering if 'Pestilence' will bring about the return of the Croatoan Virus. If I remember correctly, the Croatoan Virus has been prominent in 3 previous Episodes, most recently in 'The End'. Since we first heard about the rising of the Four Horsemen, I've had a gut feeling that this is what might happen. I guess we'll have to wait and see.

a michael jackson reference. i don't tihnk it was too soon.

at first i didn't realize it was eric! he looks a lot different than his smallville days. both his and jensen's characters from smallville dated the same chick on that show.

i had a feeling crowley set dean up when brady was beating him up.

i thought yellow eyes killed jess. guess i thought wrong.

sam looked weird walking the way he was before killing brady. and his squinty eyes. loved the lighting effects, by the way.

crowley crapping margaritas...that's something i would like to see. why does he need bobby's body? i don't trust him. i do like him, though. he's funny. maybe that's the sacrifice that was being rumored.

they showed previews of next week's episode twice, one half-way through the show, though different parts of next week's episode. i'm not complaining, since it looks really good!

I don't know, it was an OK episode.

Brady was the one that killed Jess, surprise there.

The brotherhood there, present, again, loved it.

Sam asking Bobby on how to take control over a demon, ummm ;?

Got the feeling that Crowley will use Bobby's soul as a leverage to not get killed, an insurance.

The Croatoan virus, good one being Pestilence the one who spreads it, since he's a walking disease himself...

But, they gotta know better than to team up with a demon, haven't they learned enough from Ruby?!?!?!?

Only 2 to go and I can't wait!

Love how the Brothers seem to have an unspoken connection at the moment and and have turned the deceiving on the Demons or well seem to be playing the Demons. Yellow Eyed Demons destiny for Sam wow all the way back when Sam thought he had escaped 'his Family' on to find out that Yellow Eyed Demon has lead Sam to this point. I really liked the scene when Sam could have killed Brady, which is probably what the Demons were hoping for, but toyed with him a little and controlled his anger. Could the conversation he had with Bobby come to fruition? The scene where Brady makes that call takes us all the way back to Season 1 Scarecrow with Meg making the call, such cut throat business. Not only are the Angels kicking he holy hell outta Dean but Demons too, how much more can he take? Hell Hounds oh the flashbacks and the look of anguish on Deans face, please Kripke don't do that to us again!!!!! Crowley with the tap at his level, 'mines bigger' then the hell hound fight scene was brilliant. Only 2 episodes to go Crowley what are you up too, Bobby what are you going to do, has the Croatoan virus already been set in motion.......arghhhhh the suspense is driving me nuts!
