who the heck sits that close to the tv? and what was with her nails? ugly. holy moly, parts of her head was missing.

i loved how the little girl called the tooth fairy a "freak." okay, after seeing him, i agree, he's a freak.

ugh! Dean's hand! he is such a guy! guys are so gross.

that demon/human kid sure has a smart mouth. i like him.

the whoopie cushion part was hilarious.

castiel makes such a cute little toy.

At first I thought this episode was going to be like that episode of the Twilight Zone with Bill Mummy as the little boy who controlled the town. I was really happy that it didn't just turn into that story rehashed.

I thought the 'hairy palm' and the whoopie cushion were hilarious and very much 'Dean.'

I think the way this new piece of the storyline was handled was really cool. I'm really glad that Sam and Dean told the boy the truth and let him make his own decision. Yes, it possibly could have been a disaster but it wasn't... and Sam obviously was trying to keep the boy from repeating his own mistake.

I do wonder about a few things... like when Dean went into the future (in 'The End') where was Jessie then? Castiel said the boy could wipe out the angels with a word. The angels had abandoned earth by 2014 so they weren't destroyed. Maybe Lucifer found out some way to kill or neutralize the boy by then. Or that entire episode was fabricated by Zachariah to force Dean to say yes to Michael and none of what happened was true.

But, regardless of that I really enjoyed this episode. It was more like a traditional episode and it still addressed progressing the current storyline of the Apocalypse.

I hope we see Jessie again - I think he realizs that Sam and Dean are the good guys and he might come back to them.

I agree with Stef that Castiel is a cute doll and the whoopie cushion was hilarious!!
It's ashame that he disappeared but at least he choose good over evil....at the moment

i liked this episode. the little kid was a really good actor.

but i have a question. i know what Dean was doing (typical guy), but what was on his hand? i couldn't really tell, and i guess since i didn't grow up around that many boys i don't know the myth.

Brad, can I just say how much I enjoyed reading your post regarding this episode! I'm so glad I'm not the only one who has such complex theories and posible outcomes all twisted up in their imagination
I'd love to treat you to one of my own long & speculative observations, but time is not on my side today, so all I can really say is this.
Loved it!! Totally loved it!!

As noted previously, this was good old traditional Supernatural in all its Glory!! It occured to me ...... all the way through Seasons 1,2, & 3 ....... Dean stuffed his face in practically every single episode, but this was the first time I think I've seen him put food in his mouth for quite a while now. No wonder he seemed to relish the Bacon Joint so much .... all he needed was some pie to finish off with
Dean seems to have found himself again, a hopefull sign, and Sam seems to be back in the game .... we saw the kind and sensitive side to his nature that has been lacking during his 'dark' period. Or is this just a lull before the storm??
An all round, all out, fantastic Episode ....
And terrific writing too
